“Please, Sir, pleasure me.” Her palms fell to the top of his head as she held him against her mound.

“Shh, sub.” He nuzzled her pussy, brushing his cheek against her opening as he savored their moment.

Good damn, he was horny. He’d never needed anyone as much as he needed her.

He wrapped his cock in hand and pumped, giving her a leisurely lick at the same time. “Mmm…baby.”

Her hips shot off the bed, and he smiled to himself as he repeated that same painstakingly slow lick, doing his best to hypnotize her with a firm tongue.

  “Sir, please!”

“Tell me what you want, sub,” Tigger said, nudging her folds with the tip of his nose.

“Fuck me with your tongue, Sir. I’ve been a good girl.”

Good God Almighty, her words were like an aphrodisiac!

His cock twitched in his hand. The sticky evidence of his excitement drizzled across his fingertips and knuckles.

Tucking his hands under her ass, he drew her to him and entered her with a forceful tongue. She smelled like honey and tasted better than a cold drink of water on a hot summer day. And he was lost in the act of pleasuring her. He thrust his tongue inside her cunt and made love to her sweet pussy, traveling inside her until he couldn’t go deeper, he couldn’t lick much higher.

Her body undulated. Her hips pumped away from the bed. She pulled his hair and went buck-wild underneath him. “I can’t take anymore!”

He laid his arm over her thighs to still her and stayed right with her as she tried to get away, fought to resist the orgasm he fully intended to give her, as a gift, as a token of his appreciation and a symbol of a commitment he knew he was ready to make.

He was going to fall. Without a doubt, he would love this woman. There was something so special about their connection, a hint of what he’d been missing all along.

“Come,” Tigger told her, pulling at his cock.

“Come with me,” she cried out, collapsing against the bed.

He could. Oh yes indeed, he could definitely give her what she wanted, but losing his release then would be too easy. And Tigger didn’t want easy. He didn’t want to take the high road.

He longed to feel her heat and enjoy the experience. He needed to fuck her.

She needed him to thrust inside her and stake a claim. She needed him more than she’d ever needed another. With all the strength she could muster, she grabbed hold of his muscular arms and yanked him forward.

A look of surprise washed across his face as his body mashed against hers. “I should punish you for that.”

  “So punish me.”

He shot her a lopsided smile and placed his palms on either side of her head. For a moment they stayed locked in this daring gaze, one that neither of them apparently had the strength to break.

“You can fuck me,” she suggested. “I know what you need most. I desire the same things. But right now, Tigger—Sir—I need you to show me how much you want me. How much you can’t resist me.”

Without another word exchanged between them, he lowered his body to hers, his cock parting her folds as he entered her without protection, his cock thumping inside her with rapid beats.

“Oh yes, Tigger.” Her fingernails raked across his back and shoulders as she held him close, kept him locked inside her walls.

“Come.” He hammered harder and harder as her channel pulsed around him. “Come now, sub.”

  “Protection.”

Her head rolled from side to side. She was too far gone now. It was too late to be responsible, much too late to think about the possibilities.

Her pussy milked his cock as he reared back and threw her legs over his shoulder, fucking her pussy until she was just moments, mere seconds away from exploding around him.

And right as her orgasm rolled over her, he withdrew, and in one fluid motion, his fingers replaced his cock. His dick pressed against her back entrance.

“Tigger!” she cried out, her body convulsing. Her orgasm rolling over her with a wicked force so violent, every muscle and every cell, convulsed.

He slowly entered her ass, stretching her as he claimed her. His fingers never stilled as he worked them in a scissor-like fashion.

She was coming apart. She was falling into a never-ending, sensational experience. She was, in every way that mattered, completely and utterly his.

  Chapter Nineteen

She fell asleep in his arms and awoke the same way. Resting her head on his chest, Summer stared around the dimly lit room, full of hope yet full of regrets.

She felt as if she were torn between two lovers, straddling a fence between right and wrong. There wasn’t any easy way to resolve these unsettling feelings.

When she’d arrived in Fall Branch, she’d known she had a job to do. She’d been hired to find out which agent was dirty and which one had stayed the course. In all actuality, the Feds could’ve found out the truth just by paying attention to the evidence. There was enough there to show which man was interested in bringing down the MC and which one had no intentions of ever leaving his powerful position.

Lying perfectly still, she fought to contain her tears as Tigger’s arms tightened around her body. He made her feel so safe and secure. There was such appreciation in his eyes when he glanced her way. He already watched her with that knowing look, the one a man gives his woman when they shared dirty, little secrets between them.

She was, in every way that mattered, already Tigger’s old lady. And he was, in every practical sense, a common criminal, a Fed’s target, a real MC thug.

As the first tear finally washed across her cheek, she considered what needed to be done. She couldn’t straddle that proverbial fence. She couldn’t be with Tigger and contemplate her next move as an undercover agent. She couldn’t lead him to her bed, make love to him, and trust him when she couldn’t be trusted as his lover and friend.

The damage she could do to this man was irrefutable. The feelings he stirred within her were impossible to deny as well.

Summer wanted him. She desired him more than she’d ever need or want anyone else. And she also knew what she had to do if she ever hoped to keep him.

  She had to walk away.

An hour later, Summer entered the Carnegie Hotel. She went to her hotel room, packed her belongings, drafted a handwritten letter, and waited.

About thirty minutes after her wait had begun, her cell phone buzzed. Tigger was trying to reach her, but she didn’t answer.

Another half hour passed. Another call came in and went unanswered.

Her heart clenched as she considered the consequences of her forthcoming actions. She had no recourse. She’d already set the bar high for expectations, and if Tigger didn’t have the same goals as she did, then all of this would eventually be for nothing.

About that time, a knock fell upon the door. “It’s Mark.”

As soon as she greeted him, she gave him the sealed envelope.

  “What’s this?”

“A copy of my resignation. The original has already been sent by courier to the Senior Agent in Charge.”

A smile tilted his lips. “You think it’s that easy?”

  “Believe me. It’s that easy.”

  “You think he’s worth it?”

“I don’t want to be involved with this operation.”

“So you’re throwing away your career because you don’t like the way your current assignment is progressing?”

“I’m allowing you to see my resignation, so you understand I’m walking away.”

Mark stood taller. “And just what do you hope to accomplish by quitting?”

“I’ll have peace of mind. That’s worth something.”

“It’s not worth much when you’re broke.”

  “Goodbye, Mark.”

  He didn’t budge.

“We don’t have anything else left to say to each other,” Summer insisted.

“That’s where I beg to differ.” He took a se
at on a nearby chair and pointed to the bed. “Sit.”

  “I’ll stand.”

“Suit yourself, Agent Pain.” He sniffed. “Let me explain how cases like this work.”

“Cases?” She laughed. “You don’t have a case when you aren’t working to gather evidence. Instead, you’re hiding whatever you do find to ensure there never will be a case worth pursuing.”

  “Your opinion.”

“It’s the facts,” she said, standing by her beliefs.

“Regardless, there’s something you should know. Let me put this…uh…situation in layman’s terms. When you’re assigned an undercover role like the one you assumed, it’s pretty much like this. You can take the position, assume the role you’re supposed to play, but you can’t walk away. It’s like hell. You can enter, but you can’t leave.”

Summer grabbed her luggage and Tigger’s duffle bag. She slung her purse over her shoulder. “Watch me. I’m not the one who chose to enter hell. You did that. And those flames you keep fanning from both sides? Eventually, they are going to entrap you in their inferno.”

  Chapter Twenty

Tigger paced the floor. “Something is wrong.”

“Have you tried to call her?” Logan asked then glanced at Sassy.

“Yes.” Tigger stopped walking. “You two know something. What is it? Spit it out. Did you see her leave?”

“No,” Sassy assured him. “We haven’t seen her since this morning. Maybe, she went back to her hotel.”

“I called the hotel. She’s already checked out.” Tigger was at his wits’ end. Had Summer skipped town? If so, would she really leave without saying goodbye?

“I’m sure she’ll be in touch.” Sassy patted his arm. “I get the feeling she’s crazy about you. Maybe she checked out of the hotel and is headed back here now.”

“She hasn’t called. She didn’t leave a note.”

Logan frowned. “Tigger, what do you actually know about this girl? Have you asked her about her past? Do you know anything about her?”

“I know enough,” he said, though he wasn’t at all convinced now. If anything, he regretted that the first seventy-two hours of their relationship had been more about establishing the basis of what he expected in their sexual relationship than about getting to know each other.

  “Do you?” Logan pressed.

Tigger rubbed his hands over the top of his head. “Damn it! Where is she?” He marched to the bedside table and grabbed his phone. He tried calling again. No answer.

“Why don’t you try to text her?” Sassy suggested.

  “Tigger doesn’t text.”

“Want me to send a message for you?”

Tigger paused before he reluctantly handed over his phone. “Here. Go ahead.”

“What do you want me to say?” Sassy positioned her fingers over the keys.

“Tell her…” He paused. “Tell her this is a hell of a way to say goodbye.”

The door slammed, and Tigger jerked. All heads turned to the entrance as Summer marched into the room.

“Where have you been? I’ve been worried sick,” Tigger greeted, meeting her halfway. Before scolding her further, he embraced her. The hug quickly turned into a passionate kiss, deepened by the relief he felt when he held her in his arms again.

When Logan cleared his throat, they parted lips but not bodies. Summer wrapped her arms around Tigger’s waist and rested her cheek against his chest.

“We were all worried about you,” Sassy informed her. “I’m glad you’re okay.”

“I’m fine. I just had something I needed to take care of.”

Logan gave her a quick glance, one that Tigger immediately noticed but didn’t question. He probably read too much into it, anyway, given how his emotions were in a tailspin.

“It’s dangerous out there,” Tigger reminded her. “I was about to pay Gaylord a visit.”

  “Gaylord has been handled.”

“How?” Tigger gripped her shoulders and looked down at her. “Did you see him?”

“No,” she replied flippantly. “But I sent a message.”

Tigger frowned. “I don’t like my woman sending messages to other men, especially to Gaylord Martin.”

  “Gaylord attacked me. Remember?”

Tigger felt his heart clench. The shiner on her face was a constant reminder. “You avoided my question. Did you see him?”

  “No.”

  “Who is delivering this message?”

“That doesn’t matter, Tigger,” Logan said, sticking his nose where it didn’t belong.

“The hell it doesn’t!” He shot Logan a cool glare. “She could’ve been killed while the three of us stood here trying to guess where she might be!”

“It’s handled. No questions. Remember? We agreed to leave the past where it belongs.”

“I know so little about your past,” Tigger admitted, suddenly bothered by the fact.

“Then we’ll just have to spend some time getting to know each other.” She slipped her arms around his waist and pulled him flush against her body.

He stared down the bridge of his nose at the little vixen watching him. “You aren’t going to tell me. Are you?”

  “Nope.”

Logan laughed. “That’s a woman for you. They always pry and try to find out our secrets but refuse to reveal their own.”

“This conversation isn’t over.” Tigger clucked. “Not by a long shot.”

“Trust me, Tigger. Considering the club secrets we all harbor, it won’t hurt you to let Summer guard this one.” Logan grabbed Sassy by the hand and led her to the door. “Sometimes, a man is better off if he just lets sleeping dogs lie.”

“We aren’t discussing a poodle here. We’re talking about a Doberman. Gaylord is dangerous.”

“And Gaylord won’t bother me again.”

“You don’t know Gaylord,” Tigger said. He knew Gaylord wasn’t the type of man to be intimidated by a woman.

“No,” she whispered, lifting her lips to his. “But I know you, and as long as I’m with you, I’m safe.”

“That you can count on,” Tigger promised.

  “I believe you.”

  Epilogue

Logan and Devon swung off their bikes at the same time. Each man had parked parallel to a gas pump.

“I’ll pay. Want anything to drink?” Logan asked, heading toward the old country market.

  “Grab me an orange soda.”

“You got it.” Logan entered the store.

He had just stuck his hand in the upright cooler when Mark Sampson stepped from behind a row of dry goods and slammed Logan’s arm in the door.

“What the fuck!” Logan bellowed, reaching for the small handgun he carried in his leather jacket.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Sampson said, tilting his head toward the surveillance camera. “We’ve had several scheduled meets. You haven’t shown. Did you really think you could just walk away from this now?”

Logan sneered. “I haven’t quite decided how I’m going to handle the new intel Summer stumbled across.”

  “Handle the intel?”

Logan jerked, but he wasn’t able to free his arm. “Let me go, Sampson.”

  “Or what?”

“Or I’ll hunt you down like the animal you are and leave nothing but scattered remains behind.”

  “Are you threatening your handler?”

“No. Just another street thug with a tarnished badge.”

  “You owe me, Marcs.”

  “I don’t owe you a damn thing.”

The two men swapped hard glares before Sampson conceded and released the door. Logan shook his arm a few times then said, “If I were you, I’d hand in my resignation. Tell the Director you want to take an early retirement. Walk away while you can still save your family the embarrassment. Draw your full pension. I don’t give a damn. But walk the hell away.”

“I can’t do that,” Sampson said.

“I had a feeling you might say that.

Sampson shrugged. “I’ve been in place too long.”

  “Now, you sound like Gaylord.”

“What’s done is done, Marcs. We can’t change the past.”

“You’re probably right,” Logan said, turning to the cashier. “But I can’t stand by and watch you mess up what I’ve spent years working for.”

Sampson followed behind him. A deep, evil chuckle fell from his lips. “Look at you. All decked out in your club colors, leather, and bad boy, ass-kicking boots.” He laughed aloud again. “Hell, you’re so deep into this lifestyle you honestly believe you’re a full-patch member.”

Logan slowly turned around. “That’s where you’re wrong.”

“Am I?” Sampson thumbed the door. “Isn’t it true you and Devon are closer than you’ve ever been since Gaylord’s quote, false accusation, unquote?”

“Devon isn’t working dirty now. His operations are above board. His father was the problem and, in case you haven’t heard, his old man is dead.”

“We still have hours of footage showing a different Devon and a very dirty MC operation.”

Logan frowned. “What do you want from me?”

“Your resignation. When I have a copy of your letter, I’ll advise Summer’s superiors of what they can do with her resignation as well.”

So Summer was still on the job and didn’t know it. How convenient for Mark Sampson.

“I don’t give a damn what you do with Summer’s resignation,” Logan said, lying through his teeth. He’d often thought about the leverage Summer had given Mark when she’d put her resignation in writing and given him a copy to prove she was no longer an FBI agent.

“If that’s true, you won’t mind if I mail a copy of this to Tigger then?”

Bingo! So Sampson planned to use the letter to blackmail them.

“Like I said before, I don’t give a damn.” He set the can of soda on the counter and addressed the cashier. “We have ten each on the bikes.”

  “Twenty-one fifty.”

Logan paid the bill and turned to Sampson. “Don’t contact me. I’ll call you when I decide what to do.”
